Sponsorship Levels

Sponsorships – and the organizations that provide them – come in every shape and size. Regardless of size, however, both our LGBT athletes and the gay athlete resources of GForce benefit from your sponsorship dollars. We’ve listed some of our sponsorship levels below.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Customized Sponsorships – $TBD
This opportunity is limited only by your imagination. GForce Sports has a long list of items, tasks and programs – a wish list – that need funding so that we remain a great gay athlete resource. Provide the funds for one (or many) of the items on the list and we will negotiate the appropriate recognition and promotion to make it worth your while!

Uniform Sponsorship – $1,500
This sponsorship puts your logo onto our uniforms (both home and away) for a full year and gains you the respect and admiration of our various LGBT athletes as they do battle on ice or field. Costs cover the production of the patch.

Web Sponsorship – $2,000

This package includes your ad or logo on the GForce Sports website for a full year. Ad size is flexible. Final art should be provided as a JPEG or GIF file.

Media Partner Sponsorship – $5,000
GForce Media Partners support the team’s ability to recruit LGBT athletes and potential speakers and ABS mentors. GForce Sports adds value for sponsors by providing opportunities for sponsor promotion. Support as a Media Partner provides local community publications, LGBT-oriented websites, and media/marketing firms with a tax-friendly opportunity to support the mission of GForce Sports by contributing products or services to a 501(c)(3) organization. This sponsorship level is available to organizations providing $5,000 or more in support through promotion of GForce events, programs and team sponsors.

Local Event Sponsorship as a Premier Tournament Partner – $20,000
The Friendship Cup is a tournament organized by GForce where GForce pits its gay athletes against straight or gay teams that want to participate with the object of creating camaraderie and a competitive atmosphere. By sponsoring an event like a Friendship Cup, or the team’s participation in one of many local tournaments, Premier Tournament Partners give local organizations the opportunity to communicate with a targeted regional audience concentrated in a specific geographic region.

Premier Tournament Partners enable an entire Friendship Cup event to take place. They receive the naming rights to the event (“The Twin Cities Friendship Cup presented by XYZ Corp.”). Premier tournament sponsorship starts at $20,000 in support, which is used to underwrite player travel, lodging, and event-related expenses.

These sponsors receive recognition through the promotion of the event in local media, promotion on team regalia (worn by our LGBT athletes at player appearances and public relations activities), and admission to all Friendship Cup events.

  • Conspicuous inclusion in event programs and on arena signage.
  • Logo on team regalia worn at all official player appearances.
  • Promotion of Tournament sponsorship on the GForce website.
  • Admission and recognition at all Friendship Cup events.
