Background:I started playing hockey at eight years old while growing up in suburban Philadelphia. I loved the “Broad Street Bullies” and, for that matter, movie boxer Rocky Balboa. My playing days included time with the Old York Rd. Road Runners, Cheltenham High School, The Philadelphia Little Flyers, The Hill School and a short stint with the varsity team at Hobart College. I coached a women’s club team at William Smith College for two seasons (1991, 1992) and have played with the gay Colorado Climax team. I’ve been playing men’s league and coaching adults ever since.

Best hockey experience: “Hockey House” in Aspen during the Friendship Cup.

Favorite NHL teams: Philadelphia Flyers and Colorado Avalanche
Favorite NHL players: Mike Richards and Paul Stastney
Pets: Rigby, a Portuguese water dog
Favorite place you’ve visited: New York City and Australia
Favorite beverage: Coffee
Favorite sports outside of hockey: Snowboarding and tennis
If I could eat anything it would be . . . Chicken Parmagiana at Carmine’s in Denver.
If I could be anywhere right now it would be . . . at a beach.
When I step on the ice, I feel . . . happy!
If a gay hockey player sat in front of me, I would . . . offer him a massage.
