Background: I began to play hockey in Beauport, Québec when I was five and have always played on competitive hockey teams. I won a tournament in Saguenay when I was in Midgets and went on to play hockey on a Junior A team in Québec City. We finished first in the 1999-2000 regular season and won the championship in the Ligue de Hockey de La Capitale.
