Background: I played hockey as early as I can remember right up through high school and then on a fraternity team in college. I came out in 2000 and started playing with the gay team to find stuff I had in common with gays in Boston. That team went to Sydney, Australia, in 2002 and won the gay gold - an amazing experience. I moved to Denver in 2004 and have been playing with the competitive Colorado Climax team since then.
